ARE, GREEK AUSTRALIAN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
INTELLECTUAL BIMBOES ?
All too often we hear from some older members of our community make shameless “generalities” in regards to the younger members of our broad community. In no uncertain terms our third and fourth generation are stifled and blocked from active participation and progress in our Hellenic organizations. Our young people desperately want to make their contribution.
It’s time we allowed them to think for themselves !!!
It’s time we allowed them to experiment and have a fair go !!!
It’s time we stopped making these degrading attacks (such as the one heading this article) on the younger generation who are the torch bearers and the future custodians of Hellenism in the ANTIPODES. My unequivicle answer to the above question is the following :-
NO, THEY ARE NOT !
THEY ARE DEEP THINKERS !
THEY HAVE A DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF THEIR HELLENIC HISTORY & HERITAGE !
THEY KNOW THE ART OF LOGIC AND REASON !
THEY KNOW HOW TO THINK OUTSIDE THE SQUARE !
THEY HAVE THE WISDOM AND COURAGE TO QUESTION ALL THINGS !
