The Slavic people began to arrive in the Balkans between the 6th and 7th cntury A.D.
They slowly migrated downwards from the north and east of Europe.
When are people in the world and in particular in the Islamic world going to realize that violence only breeds and creates more violence and brings about massive suffering?????
In the former Yugoslavia where 3 foreign religions a few hundred years ago were forced on the Slav populations, namely:
Catholic Christianity
Orthodox Christianity
And Islam…..
Resulted in this family of Slavs to also adopt the foreign political and cultural differences and hatreds of the foreigners!!!
It was these foreign hatreds that were then passed on from one generation to another that brought about the horrible wars and massive suffering of these Slav peoples some 15 to 20 years ago in the breakup of Yugoslavia!!!
There must be a better way to solve our differences for the benefit of all!!!
